γγDear Marla,
γγWhile rummaging around in the attic this morning, James was looking at stuff at one end of the attic, I had drifted to the other when he called me. "Hey Thalia, come look at this" he said.
γγHe had come across a number of old, fairly large wall mirrors with fancy frames which had seen better days. There was a stack of 5-6 them resting on the floor and leaning against one of the attic rafters. James and I pawed through them. They were clearly antiques from another, more baroque era Β when big and very heavy, was in vogue. A good cleaning would do wonders to some of them.
γγ"Lorraine is our resident crafts person. I wonder if she would like to restore some of these." He said. He started taking pictures of them to show her later.
γγ"Then what would you do with them? Sell them to an antique dealer?". I asked.
γγHe scratched his head. "Oh, I dunno.... Maybe we could put one or two of them up in the house somewhere. There's lot of old stuff of questionable value on the walls that could 'disappear' to make room for these mirrors. These mirrors may have been on the walls here long ago." He pointed at one particularly long, narrow one. "I wonder where that one would have been hung."
γγThen a thought hit him. "Hey, I just had an idea for your temple. Most monastic groups have some sort of symbol that represents the unifying principle of their order. For example, Christian orders have their cross. Β I cannot think of a better of you in Total Enclosure symbol than your image in the mirror fully clothed in your latex. What if we put mirrors in strategic places where you will constantly see your own reflection as you work or live in this house? I'd say that putting one in front of your fuckbox might be a priority, eh?"

γγ"So every time I see myself in the mirror, I am reminded of my Order?" I asked.
γγHe grinned and said, "That the general idea. It sounds narcisstica as hell and it probably is, but it also might work."
